A reception is being held for The Gray Press for its exhibition presenting visual variations by Nicole DePolo, David Lasky, and Avril McLane on Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven". David Lasky's minimalist comics are presented in 18 original illustrations. Nicole DePolo presents 18 signed digital illustrations from her hand crafted adaptation of "The Raven". Avril McLane presents 9 illustrations with animation from her flip book, "The Raven". The show will be on display to the public January 2, with reception from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. and otherwise may be seen by appointment. 89 Yesler Way, #206, next door to Cafe Paloma and Nickel Cigar (go up the stairs next to the smoke shop). |
